I really like the new product called Soft and Stable. Some quilt shops are carring it and you can order it online. It is a foam with fabric on both sides. Very light weight but gives your bag great structure. It is very easy to sew also. A little expensive but worth it to me.

I've not tried the soft and stable yet but heard it is very good. Most of my patterns call for pellon 987F. I believe that is the numbers. Walmart didn't carry it but may do so now. I've also heard to use headliner for vehicles in place of the batting or fleece. I've not tried that yet either. Enjoy your bag making and have a safe trip back to Poland.
