    I've made rag quilts, do an inch seams to cut...and they don't have to lay down. Once cut wash the quilt and it will fray.

    They is a pair of scissors on the market for rag quilts, rather expensie unless you've got 40% coupon but it helps your hands.

    I LOVE it!!! I like the one saying, "Behind every quilter is a pile of fabric and dishes!" That best describes my house. DH thinks I don't have a project when the dishes get done!!! LOL

    I have that taped to the wall in my sewing room. It's a classic that will always apply to genuine quilters. Thanks for sharing.
