I started a BOM applique project. I am not a hand appliqué person but I thought how hard can it be if so many are doing it. I knew I wanted the thread to not show (much)and no raw edges showing. I just started stitching the way I wanted it to be and that's how I'm doing it. There are some expert hand appliquérs here that will share what they know.

Thanks Sharon! I'm now the coordinator for the Newbie Challenge. Anyone that wishes to help a newbie or a newbie that needs a mentor can PM me. I'll be happy to help! :D
