    I agree. The border stencil that one uses doesn't always match the quilting in the quilt.

    I've always been taught that you need both straight and curved piecing and quilting, so if that's true, you are right on. Very nice quilt.

    I agree with the others, it looks great. You already have the echo quilting in that first border, so I think the melon seed quilting in that last border kind of ends it on a softer note. And I agree with Jeanie, it seems to match the pattern in that fabric also!

    It's so stunning, I'm not sure it will matter what you do in the borders! I like the melon seed idea.
