    well i did my first scrappy!
    still have scraps yikes
    There is fgeese and pinwheel filer blocks as the blocks were 10 and 15 finished
    woud you use scrappy for pwheel and fgeese and to tone it down a very lite bg if so what color I~m not a beigh or brown kind of gal white grey blue but already used them

    I have seen this quilt before. It was a BOM. You have a variety of colors to use, just be sure to use them against blocks that are not of that color. This quilter also used squares and pinwheels to fill in the gaps.

    Nice blocks! I would do the fill in blocks in black and colours to tie together the blocks that have black in them. I might even do the checkerboard border in black and the colours in the blocks.

    I would go with a grey but darker than the one that has been used. It will set it off nicely, without overpowering the main body of the quilt.
