    That is a huge quilt. I have done one like that on my machine and it was a bear. I can't wait to see yours.

    Any king size quilt is a bear and I agree with all of you on that. I made one for my daughter and hand quilted it on a Grace frame. Took me several months to do that and a whole day just to hand stitch the binding! It came out beautiful but I neglected to take the weight of the batting into consideration and it must weigh a ton but she loves it and that is all that matters to me. She selected her colors and was happy with the result. After all, isn't that what we strive for?

    I just finished a lap quilt on my Janome. I really had to fight with it. It is an old machine and the throat plate opening is only a little over 5 inches. I would like to be able to buy a new machine with bigger opening and stitch regulator but I don't think it will ever be in my budget.
