also, i saw countless fabs at thousandsofbolts.com for under $5 per yard. a significant portion are under $4. they just added a new search feature. you can search by theme within each color. guess who dropped a bundle there yesterday?

Monkee Girl, I was in our Walmart yesterday and got prepackaged fabrics on clearance: 8 FQ for $5, 2 yards of 2 different fabrics for $5 (which matched the FQ's). Also a few remaining single FQ for 50 cents each

I have used Thousands of Bolts and Fabric.com to order fabrics online and have been pleased with both..there is also another site I have used called 5 Bucks a Yard...and it too has been great.

You're so lucky, since Benton was the headquarters at one time you may be lucky and get to keep your fabric dept. Our WalMart closed their fabric dept. a couple of months ago, remodeling, and they aren't through yet. They also closed their jewelry dept. Everyone in town has been upset. WE are a small town, and when Wal Mart moved in about 15 yrs. ago, their volume of business caused 6 or 8 stores in town to fold up, several carried fabric. Now we have none and our nearest place to buy fabric in person is 100 miles in two directions and 200 in another, none in the other direction. We are furious, and just out of luck.
