Im contemplating on getting one but for those of you who have had theirs for a while, was it worth the investment. .? Ive read the previous posts on this board but id like to hear from the owners who have had their cutter for a while- after the novelty of having it wore off.. Would you buy it again or save your money?

I have a go.. and I love it, I use it alot and if i had to do it over again, yes Id buy it..

I love mine, even though I don't use it.

That doesn't make much sense, does it? The truth is, I'm no longer able to stand and cut, so My Hero (aka my husband) does 95% of the cutting for me, using my Alto Quilt cut. I don't know what his cutting would be like without it, but with it, he is always accurate and true. I always get the pieces I asked for... even when I asked for the wrong size pieces (my mind is ageing at the same rate as the rest of me).

My mom has one and uses it for 100% of her cutting. She's had it for a year and is telling me that I have to get one too. I think that's because when I go to her house to do an odd job or two for her I bring her a project to cut out for me! The pieces she cuts with it are perfect!

I bought one, and attempted to use it a few times. I personally don't think it is worth the money. I would be happy to sell mine. :)

I have the Studio and use it regularily for cutting strips as I do jelly roll type cutting.
I recommend it. However if you are contimplating getting one you decide first how you will use it. I tended to buy a lot of dies that I may or may not ever use. So I would suggest buying those dies only that you know you will use initially. The trip dies are always useful. Then decide if you are going to make a certain design and get those dies. You can overload on dies is what I'm saying.
For example if you are going to make a quilt from half square triangles and ill do it from triangles, then that die would be very useful. I have been cutting strips for a tube quilt and an do for a king size in a short time.

I misread your post and can't delete. I initially thought you meant the Accuquilt system which is entirely different.
