umm....the nine patches FINISH at 1.5 inches.......

I cut and pieced my first block tonight, the husband dared to laugh at me
I don't care to get into something like that since I tend to get tired of a project if I have to work on it too long.

[quote=craftybear]awesome, and to see the quilt better if you click on control and the plus sign the screen gets bigger and to make the screen smaller just click on control and the minus sign.

    What a neat tip!

I just saw one the other day that all the blocks were make with 1" or less squares, HST's, Etch. Not sure how large each block was but there must be 50,000 or more pieces in the quilt. It was beautiful. Now she is makeing 2 more of the same! If she can do it, you can! I am sure it will be beautiful.

What a PERFECT name for this quilt. the picture popped up and before I could even read the title, I hollered "Oh my gosh". It is gorgeous, wish I had the time and patience.

Make sure you have it in writing so the heirs can't contest the "will"

Oh my, I just bought that pattern...didn't notice that the blocks finish at 1.5 inches!!! It's such a cool pattern...guess that's why! <sigh> Guess I'll get to use up lots of my scraps!
