Go for it! It's beautiful. I have never done one of her patterns but they are so wonderful when they are completed. You can do it, one step at a time.

Like Moma always said... You won't learn if you don't try! Everything has a learning curve, even if you have a not so easy time at first, you will get there. It's like FMQ, the more you do it, the better you get. Looking forward to watching your progress. In the end you will have one Beautiful Quilt!!

HOPE NOT. Have you done one of Judy's pattern before??? She has really come out with some stunning patterns this past year and I love her batiks that she designed for Timeless Treasure.

You bet. Speaking of biting off more than you can chew... I think I'd rather choke on a chicken bone than tackle that quilt, LOL! But I'm sure you must know if you can do it or not. Good luck!

Everyone needs something to look forward to and a BOM is perfect for that for quilters. This is a beautiful quilt. I've done a few BOM's and loved getting the package in the mail. It's harder then I thought to stay caught up with the blocks even though I had a month between. Please keep posting your progress for us.

Wishuponaquilt.com had the complete quilt kit for the 97 x 97 one for $575.00 + $25.00 sign up fee. The kit included fabric, pattern and free shipping. Backing fabtic not included.

It seemed to be one of the easier places to find the more or less complete top cost.

Right now I am collecting fabrics to do the Amazon Star. Have the pattern and foundation papers already, but there are UFO's to finish... What I have learned from reading the instructions is that there is a method involved that is quite different from other paper piecing methods. You can do it . I would suggest that you get the pattern and papers ASAP, and read through the instructions. Read them again. Ask the shop questions online. Don't be in a hurry--it will take time to complete, but it wikk be worth it.

It is one of her Technique of the Month quilts, so there is probably more information included than her usual patterns. That said her patterns are well written to start with. I am guessing Judy or the store probably includes more tips as part of the package.

    She has great patterns.
