    Oh my goodness... hope it is better now... at least not hurting... ouch. Thanks for the reminder as I often do what you did... I will pay more attention to the machine and less to the telley.

    I did that once the neddle broke off and I had to go to the Dr. and get it removed. Not much fun.

    I worked in a sewing factory before they all moved over seas and this happend to me two or three times a month. Those machines run at light speed. I did it at home last week for the first time in years. Wish you fast heeling and no your not an idiot we all get distracted.

    OUCH!!!!I haven't done this but my Mother did. So, I'm very careful as I don't have lymph nodes in my right arm and must avoid infections...

    I've never done this but have come close. Word of wisdom to the warned. . . .it might be a good idea to turn the tube off or turn the sound down really low when sewing. . . like driving. . .a warning to not be distracted when operating heavy machinery.

    So sorry to hear about your accident. No you are not an idiot, just human. I hurt for you just thinking about it so take care of the wound and I hope it heals quickly.
