Ok - I'm on the computer when I should be putting away the rest of the Christmas stuff ...

I've got a Janome Memory craft and HATE its threader. HOWEVER my wonderful old Pfaff 1222E had a wonderful threader and I used it ALL the time.

LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF US ARE ON THE COMPUTER AT THIS TIME RATHER THAN WORKING ....
BUT WHAT BETTER WAY TO SIT OUT THE COLD THAN TO BE TALKING TO FRIENDS.

HAVE A GOOD DAY AND KEEP WARM....
(if you are in most of the places where they are experiencing a bit of a chill)

I have a Babylock and a different type of auto-threader. Works 99% of the time....absolutely love it!!! My old machine (Singer) never worked right so stay away from that type of threader.

I have two Janomes and LOVE the threader. I have one Brother and have never been able to use the threader. Must be "machine personalitiy". I finally just gave up on the Brother and thread it myself.......It hasn't seemed to matter which needle brand I use or the needle position......

I use mine all the time, I love it. My sister hates hers, but I showed my aunt how to use hers and she loves hers too.

Yep, I really love my needle threader on my Viking Designer SE! I admit it does take a little learning to use it and it does need to be properly aligned in the first place! It is worth the time I think to be shown how to use it at your dealership if you can. There are a few quick hints to learn and then its pure enjoyment! One other thing - if you use various weight threads, like thicker for embellishing, you need to have your needle size and type matched up to the thread you are using for the threader to work properly. Right alignment, right needle , right thread - sounds complicated but it really pays off, IMHO. My Dealer/Owner reminds me/all of us when we go to the store for a Viking Club that she does - you paid for all these stitches options and gizmo's on your machines - you might as well have fun and learn how to use them!

I have a Pfaff and love the threader. My eyes couldn't find that tiny needle hole if I didn't have it.

I couldn't make mine work on my Bernina, either but there is a little notch on the threader, not the first big one, but a tiny one and the thread has to catch in that little slot. Then it works great - and it only took me 3 years to realize it!!!
