Did you know you can buy dog hair (fur) shirts and rugs for dogs? Pet grooming places send the clippings to a place that weaves it into thread.

I sure have plenty of it, and I'm looking at it right now all over the floor. I'm too busy sewing to do anything about it. hahha!

There is also a place where you can send your dog/cat fur to and they will spin it into a yarn for you to make anything you want :D

I gotta remember that one -- but what do threads plus lots of cat fur say????
That your cat is either helping you sew or has joined the ranks of the quilt police! :)

I was driving down the road a few days ago. Hubby in the passenger seat, our two little dogs (a poodle and a chihuahua/pug mix) was in my husbands lap, on the poodle...hehehe was some thread. He must have picked it up when he was in my sewing room. I have one heck of a time getting the thread scraps into the trash can too unless I look. I think they should invent a "automatic thread catching trash can" that way we never miss the garbage can. LOL

Those long threads can be really dangerous for a cat, they can mess up her intestines.

I am so looking forward to having all these problems. I hope to be in my sewing room in our new home in about 2 months.
