am i the only one who ............
...... aims for the waste bucket on the table, and then finds all the threads in my cup of tea ?
...... reads quilting instructions 3 times, cuts the fabric out wrong and spends the rest of the time getting really creative to fix it ?
...... buys the same quilting magazine because i just love that cover pattern and forgot i already bought it ?

Lately I've actually been doing the Eleanor Burns toss over the shoulder with snippings since I can't seem to reach the wastebasket due to quilt portions draping down from the ironing board next to my chair. Not much worse to clean up since so many bits end up not in the trash in the first place. Kinda liberating -- tee hee

No to all but as far as the dining table goes I have to clear mine
of all the husbands computer stuff, only then can I use it for
fabric and anything related to quilting.
This is a give and take time in our lives. Thank God we are both here to give and take.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy Quilting NEW Year

I am SOOOOOO glad I am not the only one who does so many of these things! No wonder we are all kindred spirits!

Added to my usual slovenly ways recently has been to use my big ironing board for storage; meaning plop things down there when I don't know what else to do with them.

Your Honors, I plead guilty to all counts in the foregoing indictment.

Yes and then I got bored picking threads so I line the top of waste basek with circles of packing tape and if I aim at the basket the sticky tape grabs it. Wholla done..........Illsa

--Who looks at the clothes people are wearing and think, "That would look grat cut up in a quilt?" I have told some people that their clothes would look great in a quilt. My cousin has told me that when one of his shirts wears out, I'll get it then." Drives my kids crazy!! Never a bad thing.
--I put my thread snippets in a ajr for the birds for their nests in the spring. Occasionally have to empty small jar into larger jar as it becomes full. :)
