OMG, I just had cateract surgery on one eye a couple of days ago (second due in a couple of weeks) - Does this mean that I'll soon discover that all my stitches have been inferior and defective. Will I soon be begging for my cateracts back LOL

Count me in. That's the reason why I like to press the seam to oneside, so if I find half of the seam not exactly 1/4, I can sew over it, rip it out, start again, or whatever. I have tried pressing them open, & then I had to go back to the ironing board, and instead of pressing once, I had to press BOTH sides back so I can rip. Argh! Don't tell the quilt police, please.
