First off I don't think you are stupid  Secondly, if you really like this material and you can afford it, then buy it!!! I find that when I figure out how many hours of enjoyment I get out of $50 worth of fabric...that is pretty cheap entertainment 8) 8) 8)

Go for it. If you like it and the price is reasonable!

If you can use it, go for it.

I bought 14 yards of a quality white-on-white because it was $3.50 per yard. Might take me years to use it or, might just be a couple of quilts using it as the background or for applique blocks. Either way, I'm sure I'll use it.

I think you have what I call Guilt Myself. Use to I would think, I really don't need it but I really like it, I'll think about it, I'll come back later to see if it's marked down....I stopped that way of thinking. I have raised my kids, got them all through college and married and now it's me time! When I see something I want in quilting, I don't even think about it, I put it in my shopping cart. Haven't missed a meal since. :D

    Helpppppp,lol its done

i have now bought 2,9 meter( cause that was whats left on the bolt apperantly) with white and gold dots

3 m blue with silver dots( gonna be great as a back piece for a planned quilt, atleast 2 meter; then its sum left for fun

2 meters red with gold dots; seems to be good for xmas sewing objects amongst others aswell as a little to use for a girly quilt, mixed with pinks.

Shipping inluded and i think the fabric was about 140 cm lengthwise.

TOTAL: 350 nok =54.82 us dollars

should i be spanked now cause mum kinda bought( i ll pay her back in some way later on i m sure) 5 meters with hello kitty fabric ( on offer on the bolt)

same 1ith 10 meters of pink nervous velour, it cost all in total about

500 nok ( tiny bit less) 76.75 us dollars

    i ll go hide now..........................................

Don't go and hide. Head out to the mailbox and wait for the mailman. I'm happy for you.

its ordered but i just got a mail saying they only had 1.9 meter left of the white but they would only charge for 1.5 and i asked for some samples of the thai silk which they said i could get for free too.

and i still get free shipping but that was extremely little anyway, only 30 nok

Yes, I am with the others.....good buy! I had a look at the pictures and I think you will not find any problem using these. The silks looked absolutely beautiful too. So no hiding....use them with pride and think of all the years of joy those quilts will bring.
