3 meters of white cotton with gold dots, 2 meter blue cotton with silver dots and 1 meter( or possibly 1,5 or 2 = this is not yet counted in the price i m saying))), it will cost me just approx 300 nok which is 47 dollars

    (((((( http://coinmill.com/NOK_USD.html#NOK=300 )))))

it is pr meter 7.84 (50 nok) which is less than it normally is a meter.
    Normally for plane coloured cotton its atleast 80 nok = 12.54 // 100 nok=15.67

soooooooooooooooooo am i really stupid?

Nope, if you think you can use it, then go for it Sunny. Material is expensive here as well, so when I see something on the Web, I go crazy.

If the fabric speaks to you and you have the money then why not? That is enough to use as backing, and I find that I never have large enough pieces for backing.

I am, however, not qualified to answer the original question. See, I have a room full of fabric that all talked to me at one time or another. If any more speaks, I have to move. lol

It sounds like a deal to me- if I am reading/understanding right. I pay up to $9 a yard around here where we have a very low cost of living. And fabric overseas is more costly from what I hear. Go for it! Especially if you love it.

Also, I was just at Joann's two days ago and I looked for that teal/green scrolly fabric that you liked from my brown and teal quilt, but they did not have any.

If you can afford it, go for it - if you hate it when it arrives, you can sell it, or use it as backing. It won't go to waste.
