I saw that one and while I think it is absolutely adorable, unfortunately $30 is way too much for me.

I will say I have spent that much on very intricate patterns (judy niemeyer, etc) that have come with the paper pieces.

I wonder if she marks it up that much just because she then has to discount it for wholesale, etc? And to keep the price even for anyone paying for it, she has to sell it at that price too? I know when I was sellling scrapbooking paper piecings, I wholesaled to one store and honestly took a large loss so they could afford to resell them. Because there was no way someone was going to pay 200% of what I normally charged. I did okay as she bought a lot and that helped because I could do more of a mass production, but I still made less than my time plus expenses.

Honestly I love her patterns, but have yet to buy one.

Well...I really like the looks of this but not for a pattern that costs $30!!! Did that include any fabric at all? It looks like something I would want to buy as a kit.

I have this pattern . I also got the halloween one. I got them after christmas so they were on sale. The pattern is on 24 by 36 paper so there is no reprinting needed. I can't wait to make them.

Here is a photo of the Halloween one.

Very cute, I love snowmen but would not pay $30. for that pattern. It would have to be pretty special to pay that much.

Yes, it's cute, but not $30 worth of cute. It should be relatively easy to make your own pattern from the picture.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE snowmen, however I don't think I love those snowmen to the tune of 30 dollars. I don't care how much a designer DOESN'T make with a price of 30 dollars she/he won't make anything off me!

Some will call me selfish, but raising a family is more important to me than lining someone elses pockets for a pattern!

I picked it up when a local store went out of business. Got the pattern for dirt cheap.

I love Amy's stuff but I thought $30 for this pattern was a little much. I also picked up the Halloween one that Scotch posted at that sale.
