I wash all my CT fabric, however, I will say I've never had anything run and the shrinkage was minimal if anything. I wanted to starch these and I dip starch after washing.

I do not need to prewash the Connecting Threads fabric, because they do not put a lot of stinky sizing on their fabric. I prewash everything I get from other sources. Just pressing fabric with sizing will make me ill.

I have never had Connecting Threads fabric bleed, shrink, or ravel more than other fabric and I have bought batiks from them. Probably half of my stash is Connecting Threads fabric. I love it.

I never prewash, except batiks. When I first started quilting, I prewashed charm squares. What a tangled mess!

I pre-wash only because I do alot of swaps and it is required; and because the quilts I make are for the NICU (preemie babies) and I am asked to do this. Otherwise, I do not pre-wash fabric for wall hangings or purses or table runners.

I pre-wash everything. I want to make sure if it shrinks it will do it before I put it in to a quilt.

I have been ordering fabric and thread from Connecting Threads
for the last 5 years. I am very happy with their fabrics. They are organic cotton grown in the US and dyed in American territories.

I always wash my fabric before quilting. The DK and Red colors
may bleed so I always play it safe with any fabric.

I don't usually prewash unless it's for a swap. That's just me though. Can honestly say that I've never had any issues with anything from CT

Never prewash unless I think it might bleed.

I've never prewashed my fabrics in the past but since joining this board and reviewing posts on the subject, did prewash the fabrics ordered from Connecting Threads. only the 1 red fabric bled and I used a couple of color catchers in the wash so the fabric is still red and white. don't know that I'll prewash again as the ironing of the fabric was a bit%@!

I haven't felt the need to wash their fabrics first. They feel so nice and soft. A lot of fabrics I get at local fabric stores feel full of sizing, so I do wash.

I have bought a lot of Connecting Threads batiks, and I LOVE how they feel. Soft and nice thickness.
