    This is great idea. Don't have to make a large label.

    Agreed with you and Bearisgray - I have learned to cut off the selvedges before cutting the fabric - for example, a 2" strip will surely be wonky at the selvedge ends if I don't. Even on a backing piece with the 1/2" seams it can be troublesome. Learned the hard way! Good luck with the permanent marker!
