Bought something like this for hubby to pick up loose screws in the garage. I have borrowed it a couple times--lol.

I keep thinking I need to get myself one. If I don't have one by the next time I drop my entire pin box on the floor, I am getting in the car and going to the store to pick one up. immediately.

I find it's a great gizmo to grab my runaway metal Kenmore bobbins. Too bad it doesn't work on spools or plastic Brother machine bobbins. I'm in a sewing group at my sister's church, and any available child loves to "sweep" the floor for runaway pins before we leave.

I have several different ones like that! Love them. Hubby also has several for those dratted little bolts and washers that escape into the nether regions of equipment he is working on.
