Default Another Project on My List - What was I thinking?

Last night as I was quilting my project for DH's aunt, my 20 yo son came into the room and said he's so glad I've found something I really enjoy doing. (Where did all this sweetness come from?? What did he want from me??)

Then he said, "When are you going to make one for me?" I told him I'd been thinking about what to make for him. Then..."As long as it's Celtics, I'll hang it up every place I live." I confessed to having been looking at Celtics fabric and got a hug. Wow! But now I'm on the hook just when I'm starting my winter classes!

He's back to college on Sunday and probably won't be home until April at the earliest - buys me a little time.

Well, at least you have a few months to work on it!

I know just how you feel. It's flattering that he wants a quilt and knows that you can make him a nice one, but sometimes it feels like an obligation which takes the place of whatever comes up that you want to do! But just think how happy you will make him.

Where did you find Celtics fabrics? We used to live in MA and I sometimes look for the team fabrics and haven't seen any except for fleece at Joann's when I went up north last year.

I totally missed this one until katier825 mentioned having troble finding Celtics team fabrics. Celtics, Celtics not Celtic quilt as in very difficult Celtic Knot work quilt. You can do it if you've already found the fabric and you have 'til April.
