    Just an FYI, there are some nasty chemicals in those, and they might not react well with the fabrics once it is washed.

    there are no harmful chemicals in the erasers..

    but i would be curious to see what happens to the fabric after it is washed..

    i will also admit that the quilt top i'm working on now probably won't be washed....it'll lay on a bed and be treasured by by aunt and her kids as it gets passed down thru the generations.

    That's great. I'll have to remember that one. I always use magic erasers to clean my walls(i have an artistic 3 yr old), scrub the floors, and anything else I can use it for.

    I have tried everything to get pencil out, Magic Eraser is on the top of my shopping list now...LOL Thanks for the heads up..

    Me too -- and often had to give up getting those tacky pencil marks out :oops: :oops: :oops:

    Does anyone know if the magic erasers will work on other types of pencils as well??
