I gave serious thought to trying this. But, I finally decided not to. I find the author's refusal to post photos of finished blocks/quilts off putting. What pictures I could find were simple applique and not particularly attractive. My other concern was the story itself. I love a good murder mystery, but there is nothing worse than a poorly constructed story. I don't have a lot of free time. I don't want to spend it struggling through badly written "novel". Too many good books waiting to be read.

I agree that is pretty pricey and you are smart to be very skeptical about the offer. In today's world there are more scammers than nice people it seems like. I hope you find out something good about this offer but just be careful. There are some good mystery quilt follow alongs and maybe they would be more fun for you. I am sure you will get some great advice from other members on her but I have not heard of that offer.
