The shape of the panel reminds me of the fireplace screens everyone was making about 25-30 years ago.

Put some simple borders around it...different widths. Last border put cornerstone blocks and one more round of a simple border. IMHO. very cute panel!

Do you know the name of the panel? I collect birdhouses and it would be a great wallhanging.

Well thanks everyone for your great advice. i do know its not for a fireplace screen way to big. Going to use one to make one of my charity quiltys like someone suggested. The second one I think I will add to the stash I plan to put up for sale here. again THANKS everyone
