Default Any info on Janome DC 2011 machine?

My LQS has a very good deal on a floor model Janome DC 2011 machine. I am looking for a machine to take to classes and retreats. Does anyone have one of these machines? Reliable? Fussy? Easy to carry? Any comments would be helpful!
    Thanks!

    i don't think we've ever seen a bad rep for a Janome!
It's more a matter of finding one with the features you want.
As for easy to carry ... that should be easy enough for you to check in the shop.

So long as you "trust" your dealer, and it has the features you wish, it should be a good one.

When I upgraded the machines in my classroom, I purchased 2 of these machines. I've never had any issues with them at all, they are great! And I teach teenagers how to sew, they can be hard on a machine. They are a medium weight machine. Is your dealer offering a year warranty on the machine in addition to the good $$ deal? That would certainly be a plus as well. I would recommend it.

The machine has been a floor model for 6 months at a new, small QS. She is offering the same warranty as a new machine.

My DIL and I have this machine. She does a lot of sewing and we both enjoy our machines a lot. I got mine a year ago and have ENJOYED sewing where in the past the machine I had was pure frustration. For me the machine operates smoothy and is great.
