We were at the Marden's store in Lewiston yesterday and they have a lovely array of high end sewing and quilting machines. They even had a small long arm machine. Anyone know if they will carry these all the time?

Wow! I've never seen machines at Marden's. I usually go to the one in Scarborough and the one in Ellsworth, sometimes Sanford. I tried to go to the Lewiston one on my way home from The Maine Quilt show but they were closing (so early) when I was driving through.

No, they won't carry them all the time. This is salvage from a sew & vac store that had a fire. Everything looked in good shape to me, no water or smoke damage. Did you see all the accessories on the peg boards? I was able to find a couple of things for my vintage sewing machines.

Does anyone know if Waterville or Brewer received stock as well, or is it just the Lewiston store?
