I have problems with the machine it has had 2 new moother boards many blown fuses and switches. Frame is constantly wearing out tacks because machine is too heavy. Just talked to Pfaff customer servic for about one hour whith no results When't to dealear to see about trading it in. If you hve it I don't have to tell you it was not cheap. You will not like that the trade in value is only $4,000 on a new grand quilter pkg. Checked with gammel and got the same result.

I got a $1,800 trade-in on a $12,000 Tin Lizzie set up that was 2 1/2 years old. This was last year. I was at a LA quilt show and asked each dealer what my trade-in value would be and all but Nolting refused to accept my TL though these dealers did take other machines. I was fortunate in that Nolting was my 2nd choise and I have been thrilled with my new machine. No matter what name appears on your machine, the association with TL is going to limit your trade-in or resale value in my experience and IMHO. So many of us have had unresolved machine problems and really poor customer service.

I hve had constant problems with machine the frame that was sold in this pkg has one have has 1 wheel on the carraige and is too light weight to hold the machine. I went to see about trading it in on a new one at the dealer that I bought it from and found out that what I pd 15,000 dolllars for 2.5 yrs ago is only worth 4,000 dollars trade in. Talking about getting the breath knocked out of you. Was offered a sale of a new frame for 2,200 dollors. Fuming I left only to find tha all tin lizzies are not worth anything on trade. Do not waste your money on a qubot unless you get a better frame because it will not work when the frame wears.
