Never heard of it, but I think this is the best idea I've heard in awhile. I am making myself a quilt, finally, and I going to try this. My feet are always cold.

I made a bunch of "Snuggies" - you know those fleece blankets with sleeves? But, I sewed the lower edges together for about a foot at the bottom and across the hems horizontally, so the snuggie actually makes a "bag.

Everyone likes them better with the automatic "tuck in" for the feet. :)
    That's a great idea!

I still have my quillow, it must be over 20 years old! And i still use it.

Made a quillow for my son many years ago...he always has his feet in the pocket...he had me make one for his girlfriend last year for Christmas...she loves hers too and also uses the pocket as a foot warmer.

I'll bet I try this one. I may even have to modify some existing lap quilts.

I added a 21" pocket to my flannel quillow - plenty of room to move my feet around and even cross at my ankles.

I have made them for friends and one for my husband. It is made out of soft fannel and the pocket for his feet is a little bit bigger for comfort. When he's under it, he can fall asleep in a minute! He calls it " my blanket" I just did a blanket stitch around it and machine stitched the foot pocket.
