I got some at Harbor Freight, was there to get blades for my rotary cutter and turned around and there were gloves for everything, and a set of three with rubber coating and they are perfect for FMQ and fit a womans hand and you have spares when they get yucky.. LOL not expensive!!

They get in the way. I use one or two drops of glycerin on my fingertips and palms. Gives me all the tackiness I need and don't have to keep taking gloves off and on. Buy a bottle for $4-$5 at the pharmacy and you have enough for three life times.

What a great idea to only use the fingers. My hands, then in turn my whole self get so hot when quilting and I am wearing the gloves. Does anyone else get over heated?

I love mine---I have and recommend the Fons and Porter ones as they are lightweight and I can wear them in the summer as well and not get hot.

I love the gloves for machine quilting. They really help you to keep control of the quilt.

Love them, makes a world of difference from bare handed.
Got them for under 5 dollars so well worth the investment!
Machingers are great. They really grip and my hands don't get hot in them.

They are great for machine applique for all the same reasons!

Me too! Can't machine quilt without them. Makes a huge difference.
