I also lurked for a while before posting but then decided I needed to take the plunge. Everyone here is so complimentary and helpful. I certainly know I am not up to par with the majority but what I do is very nice and as they say "practice makes perfect" so I have a goal to look for.

I haven't posted a single picture either and I have been a member for a little over a year. I made 14 lap quilts for the elderly dementia patients in a local nursing home. Another lady in my quilting group\guild\bee made 24! I made them from 5' squares, nothing fancy something to give love to those who may or may not have gone forgotten by relatives. I see these gorgeous works of art on the avatars of other members and just say that mine are simple works of love. I am CHICKEN Too!

Even if your picture was awful,(its a quilt so that's not possible) it might give someone else the courage to share. Just remember we are all hungry for ideas and friendship.
Oh, I ask you to believe my quilts are great, just need to learn how to work SIL's computer. Then I'll post too.
