Get to posting Honey. We don't gobble up lurkers here! We love to get to know them.

We are friends here. NOT quilting police. We all started as beginners and move up so will you. This is to help make quilting fun. We like fun here.

I would love to see some of your creations. I have yet to see a quilt on this board that I didn't love. Please show us a picture.

I am one of the people who "lurk". I have posted some replies. So many nice people. I have bookmarked so many sights, made the "carrot sticks" table runner form allpeoplequilt.com, made the star blocks to mail to Moda Fabrics. So much info. Love the board.

I'd embarrass myself if I even attempted to quilt, if even a wallhanging.
No way that you'd be embarrassed! Pick something simple for starters. If you can sew, you can quilt! (I actually think it is easier.) Make a little table runner out of square blocks, sew them together, and turn, rather than bind, top stitch, and surprise yourself. Once you do that, you'll gain a trunk load of confidence, and move on to bigger and better things. You won't look back after that first bug bite.

I too have been lurking for some time. I've finally gotten around to getting a few posts out there but I've not posted any pix. I want to upload more pix from Cincinnati Quilt Show -- pix that I've not seen on here. And I haven't dared post any pix of the few quilts that I have done. But I'm getting alittle braver each day. There is QUITE SOME TALENT on this board. Unbelievable talent that's for sure!

I am nowhere near as accomplished as most of these ladies, but I love to make quilts and I love the camaraderie on this board. Jump in, Honey, get your feet wet! Welcome!
