I moved from New Hampshire five years ago, and still miss my favorite quilt shop Pine Tree Quilt Shop. It is in Salem, so you will have to take a short drive. 224 North Broadway
Salem Market Place, Salem, NH 03079. Google it, as she does have a web site, I checked to make sure it was still there, and it is, and the same owner.

It would be worth a trip for you to drive up to Sanford Maine and visit Marden's
There is also a great shop in Portsmouth NH
Also, visit the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, Ma

There's a whole gaggle of us granite-staters here. :D Here are some of my picks for you.

Pickering Farm in Richmond. Their specialty is colonial reproduction fabrics. Great place. http://www.pickeringfarmquiltshop.com/
Quilted Threads in Henniker. An awesome place! They will be featured in the Spring 2011 issue of Quilt Sampler that comes out May 11th. http://www.quiltedthreads.com/
Peggy Anne's in Concord. She carries great bolder fabrics but is right downtown by the State House, so parking can be tricky. http://www.peggyannes.com/

I agree with ghostrider on her suggestions- The one in Henniker is worth the trip - about 1.5 hours away from Nashua and although I have never been to Pickering Farms - I've met the owner at retreats and Quilt shows and have bought a lot from her - great fabric at all three!

There's also The Quilt Patch in Bedford, NH, just 25 minutes drive north from Nashua on Route 101. (www.thequiltpatchnh.com). Also a big fabric store in Bedford, Martin's House of Cloth.

Hi, I live in Bedford. Defintely plan a trip to Marden's and Keepsake-two different ends of the price scale--Pine Tree is great, so is Quilted Threads in Henniker-be sure to explore the other crafty shops on the main street. Have fun.

if you are coming this weekend, save yourself all the driving around and just go to the Hannah Dustin annual quilt show, because there will be about 12 fabric vendors there, including Pickering Farm. This is located in the town of Hudson, adjacent to Nashua.

I love the stores mentioned - Quilted Threads, Keepsake, and The Quilt Patch - but if you really don't want to venture too far from Nashua, here are the three closest:

Pine Tree Quilt Shop in Salem
    Bits N Pieces in Pelham
    The Quilted Shamrock in Hudson

Have fun, and let me know if you need a local escort!
