I lived in davenport Ia for a while when hubby had to go and bring a tire store around for a chain he used to work for.
What a wonderful area and the people were very nice. I loved it there overlooking the mississippi. The birth of jazz was there and the Palmer chiropractic school. It was amazing that some businesses were operated by the same families for over a hundred years.
