You should see how much fabric I have!! So much that some of it is stored in two storage buildings, not counting what is in every room of the house! No, I didn't have to pay for all of it.......

LOL...I had lots too. At some point I became too overwhelmed with over 9000 yards in 2-3 yard cut pieces. In the past 14 months, I have given away or sold half of it. And I'm actually okay with it...it's becoming easier to do as time goes on because now when I see something in the store that I like, I go ahead an purchase it, knowing that I can fit it in my room.

Not only that, some of the fabric that I purchsed 3 or 4 years ago, I'm finding that my choices of print has changed over time, so I don't necessarily like all of it anymore.

finish what I start, use what I have and be thankful to have it, gosh knowsI don't need any more) remember to find joy and relaxation in the creative process. Leave my troubles and worries at the door when I enter my sanctuary, and find a few minutes a day to do what I love, consider anything else gravy.

More patience, less rush (and subsequent mistakes)
    FMQ
    Proper binding
    Quilts for home
Quilts for son and brother (birthdays)
    Here's hoping!

 no new fabric......oh, my, that is impossible.....i lost 100 pounds last year, just by cutting back on eating....but no way i would have the will power to give up new fabric.......i sew for a charity group (a division of my quilt quild) that has a huge stash of fabrics to choose from......so maybe i could shop for myself just every other month......my favorite quilt shop would suffer. my favorite resturant and favorite ice cream shop both closed up while i was loosing my extra pounds, my friends say it is all my fault. i made a new quilting design this morning and i am here because i have to wait till at least 7 a.m. to start sewing

Do the hardest exercise of them all when I am out and about: drive by a quilt shop. Umm, how many calories can you lose that a way.

I love the pattern on your profile photo/avatar. Can you tell me the name of it and maybe the designer?
    Thanks!
