any suggestions?
I have a Janome 6600 and I bought a ruler quilting foot for it. I have used this now a few times and I really like it.
My problem is that I only have 1 ruler - its a heart. Which is fine but I would like to mix it up
Does anyone have any suggestions on what quilting ruler I could buy that would work with my machine (in the throat space). I don't really want anything too small either
What do you guys think?

My essential ruler for straight lines is the Line Tamer, from Four Paws. Patsy Thompson has a short video of how to use it:

Westalee has rulers; some in a set. I saw them demo'd at the store I shop at. They do some really neat things. I have a long arm so didn't get them. But if you are used to doing ruler work - and I'm not - you might check them out and see if they will work for your machine.

My vote is for Angela Walters" rulers. Westalee is also good but I find that Angela's rulers can be used for so many more things. Problem with Westalee is that the rulers are in many different sizes and you have to try and guess which one would be the most useful. For example, a three inch border but a 2 inch ruler --doesn't work too well. You can purchase the entire set but that is pricey.

I have the Westalee beginner set. The company has many helpful videos on youtube. You might also look at amyquilts.com. She has a lot of helpful videos, suggestions on various rulers and is currently doing a live show on Facebook a couple times a week. She has tried many different types of rulers and gives an honest review. She also had ruler classes on Craftsy and hers is one that I bought and used.
