Any tips for collage quilts?
I just watched a little video and will pick up some Pattern Ease to draw whatever form I decide on. Has anyone made a collage quilts and do you have some dos and don'ts and tips for a beginner?
Maybe you could post a photo of your quilt? That would most likely be the greatest of inspirations.
Thanks!

My tip is to use Steam a Seam 2 Lite, as it has a sticky back quality that lets you stick your pieces on to see how they look and even reposition them before you iron them down. I also did mine on my design wall, rather than on a table, Found it easier that way for me.

Thank you for the tips. Thank you Watson, I didn't know there were 2 different kinds of Steam a Seam, love all the blues. Imanna, I love how you used sea themed fabric for yours, it makes it so fun.

Well, that is just adorable!! I'm signed up for a Laura Heine retreat in June to learn this technique. I'm a bit intimidated, but so intrigued too. I've picked Abeline, the steer for my project. Can't wait!
