Smile Anybody heard the price of the Janome Memeory Craft 15000?

I saw where Janome came out with their latest high end embroidery/sewing machine October 1st. Anybody know what these are going for? I know I couldn't afford it but am just curious. I have a Memory Craft 10001 and am happy with that even though it is over 10 years old.

    Happy Quilting everyone.

    Chris

I googled it and according to SewVacDirect.com the suggested retail price is $9,999 and they sell it for $7,999.

I upgraded / traded in my 10001 to a 12000 in late 2012 for about $8k with Acufil thrown in and think the price you are quoting is amazing for the 15000! Locally the dealer quotes $11,999 for the 15,000 before trade-ins, etc. It's probably going to be a great time to trade up!

An online source who provides no service, training and education on the product is always going to be less. However, you get what you pay for and for a machine at this level, I would want the dealer support and classes.

I did not even know they had a 15000 out however I too, have the 10001 and am keeping it. It does all i need it to do and will probably never buy another machine as I also have the 9000 (which is 20 plus yrs old) and the 3500 which I take to classes as it is smaller and easier to handle.

I talked to a dealer here in Ontario 2 weeks ago and he indicated that the 15000 would have a price around $12000. It looks like it is the 12000 that is $7999 on sewvacdirect and there is no price on the 15000 from what I can see.
