Isn't that always the way it happens? I wish we had a JoAnn's closer to us. The closest one I know of is in Meridian, MS or somewhere in Louisiana. Meridian is a couple of hours away but would be worth the trip! Thanks for sharing. Mary B MS

Really want to go, but I really need to finish what I have already started. How many times have we all said this?

the nearest JoAnn's is 90 miles away, but I am going to SC for turkey day and there is a Joann's off I-20 exit 82 in Convery GA and I stop there, on the way back I stop at the one off hwy 59, the one 90 miles away, it's not open when I go up the east coast. I can't wait, there are two in the town where my daughter lives and one just opened 3 miles from her house, lucky me

cotton went up 54% a friend and i went together to buy bundles on line and split the fabric and cost. we were real happy with the fabric when it arrived. To get the good deal they get to pick the fabric colors. The blenders were beautiful calicos were great abd the plain fabrics of color were varied. Do we hqve a stash. Joann's eat your heart out!!!!!

Oh my gosh, you're a woman after my own heart. I was there five times in October, there were so many bargains I couldn't stop.

Our Jo-Ann's is remodeling and is having a grand re-opening sale next week. I may have to bite the bullet and join the throngs.

Jo-Ann's is one of my favorite places, but for selection of fantastic fabrics and great prices I have to say Favorite Fabrics on-line is pure heaven. Take a look, bet you'll see why I say that; plus the service is way above the norm.

Yesterday, at Joann's, the had held computer used when cutting was not recognizing the 1/2 off on red tag fabric. The clerk had to override to the correct price. It helps to ask the clerk if the right price comes up. Quilt Fan

I heard on the news last week that anything containing cotton is going to skyrocket after the first of the year. This will especially fabrics and jeans.

Good for you. The closet Joann's was 100 miles away and they had a great sale like that a couple months ago and then closed the store
