If it helps at all, the taxes are not due until the 18th! Some sort of Federal holiday on the 15th.

At least you get a reprieve on both federal and state taxes. Like others said, feds aren't due until the 18th because of a D.C. holiday. And guess what - KY (based on the "Kentucky" in your location) isn't due until the 18th either! From the http:\\revenue.ky.gov website:

"Taxpayers will have until Monday, April 18, 2011 to file their 2010 tax returns and pay any tax due. Emancipation Day, a holiday observed in the District of Columbia, falls this year on Friday, April 15. By law, District of Columbia holidays impact tax deadlines in the same way that federal holidays do; therefore, all taxpayers will have three extra days to file this year. Taxpayers requesting an extension will have until Oct. 17, 2011 to file their 2010 tax returns."

Of course, if you have other state returns besides KY, you'll need to check on those still.

Well, dear, I hate to have to point out that spending time here is not going to help you get any of that done. Turn off the computer and get busy!

    How's everyone else doing?
Taxes are due the 18th this year, thanks to a Washington DC holiday that IRS observes. So if that helps...:)
