large...one BIG L-shaped room. I'm happy about that part
but it is also upstairs. If I want to do any ironng etc..I
jump up there early. Seldom do much in summer except
hand work (and I sure have plenty of that since I hand
quilt). Only way we can cool it down is to shut down the
registers downstairs and open up the two upstairs, so we
suffer one way or the other, ha. It's no surprise tho, so
I know every year I have to plan for that. Carrying down
stairs anything is not an option...age and health prevent that.

Yep, me too....let's blame the weather, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

PS. I work 2 jobs full time and am thinking of going part time with the 2nd job. I might get some energy back then.

Oh man, I have had the Lazies majorly. I see my sewing room the moment I come in the house and anytime I sit down. it is in my living room. I have been in the process for about a month to get it organized and easy to access everything. I have been struggling with depression so I dont want to do anything.

This last weekend I paid my stepdaughter to come help me sort through some stuff in my quilt room and put it in clear totes. She knows n o t h i n g about fabric, manufacturers, designers, nothing. So she got a short education. I really needed my oldest daughter who is also a quilter to help me but she had other commitments. My quilt room is about 10 x 10 with a slant roof on both sides. This limits what I can do with it for storage. I just want the fabric sorted and put away right. I have so much Jinny Beyer that it is stacked in two stacks about 4 1/2 feet tall. Thats just the pallet, not the border fabric. It's hard for me to get excited when you have so much fabric everywhere. Is it possible to hoard fabric??

I spent last week reading. Every morning I thought I would get up and work on one of my quilts. Instead I would pick up a book and before I knew it the day was gone. I think I am a little more motivated this morning. I hope so, I miss sewing.
