Yes, I have those days too. I am blaming the weather but then
I have had sinus problems for the last week too.

Rosie, you would look under ''QUILTING'' in them thar medical books, I am sure there is something in there that refers to it.

I was that way a couple of weeks ago. Just couldn't seem to go into my sewing room. I was so bored all evening. I was working on a t shirt quilt for someone else. It just wasn't what I wanted to be doing so I did nothing. I finally finished it and now have moved on to what I want to work on.

For me it's the drought. I can live with the heat but the worry about water is all I seem to be able to think about.
Then driving into town and seeing all the green lawns that people must be watering daily makes my blood boil. If only we could do some swapping and sharing of weather!

Okay, had to edit and delete that weight ticker under my posts. It was almost as depressing as the weather.

I'd love to have my sewing in the "basement" but we don't have it finished with electrical or the door on... right now it's holding construction materials that have to be out of the weather.

    Totally Agree....................
I agree, also. We hit 101 today, but around 4 this afternoon, temps began to drop and we finally got RAIN. We're in
the seventies now and it really feels awesome.

Will pick up a book tonight and try to get back on step tomorrow.

Me, too - I spend so much time reading nearly everything on this board - but each morning I think - "Okay, what am I going to learn today?" I have checked out several other boards/forums and they just don't seem to have the warmth and friendship that we have here, and I can't wait to see what subjects are coming up next!!!!
