well - the first priority is the flower beds - there are maple trees trying to grow up between the rose bushes!! EEK!!!

but in between, i'm quilting - trying to finish this king size quilt. it needs to be finished by end of june.

I watched my Granddaughter weed my small flower bed and plant some flowers. She put a metal rod into the ground and stuck clay pots onto it. The holes in the bottom of the pots caused the pots to go crooked, very cute.
I washed today and cleaned some of the house.
We turned down going to a barbecue. Tomorrow I may weed another flower bed.
I could be sewing now, not in the mood for it. I plan on sewing borders onto a quilt I have been working on tomorrow and Monday.

I got a quilt ready for FMQ this morning. But didn't do any FMQ other than to do my bobbins and change the needle. Was lazy the rest of the day. Tomorrow, tomorrow.... And it's such a beautiful weekend, I should go outside with the Round-Up.

I finally got back at niece's wedding quilt after having to put it aside to do another project. Got all the big blocks done and squared up. Also go the fabric cut for the remaining medium sized blocks (only need 20 more of them). But I need 80 more small blocks...Ouch!

I also went to a church rummage sale. Got 11 men's shirts, 8 pairs of good jeans--for quilting, and a really nice hoodie for myself. Spent $10. I can live with that!

I spent yesterday finishing up the quilting on a baby quilt for a dear friend's expectant daughter and today got the binding finished. Tomorrow, I'll be busy making a card to go with it (I also do stamping and scrap booking.). I'm mixing it up with my activity this weekend. Hubby and daughter both working all weekend.

I've been doing a little of everything you mentioned... smoking some ribs (and cooking all the other assorted foods to go along with them), gardening, and both piecing and quilting. Since the food was a rather large quantity, I won't have to cook much for the rest of the looonnngg weekend, so I can focus on my quilting and piecing.

I had planned to start a wall hanging I want to do but was asked to alter a bridesmaid's dress fro a friend of my dtr....so, that'll get done first. That's on a deadline there, not so much with my quilting.

I have one more row to sew on my Quilt of Valor by Mark Lipinski and hope to get it ready to quilt by hand. If it does not rain I want to finish up my flower planting.
    have a nice week-end everyone.
