    I think all of us at one time or another have done stuff like that. I had finished a whole top and noticed a block was reversed, so had to rip it out , redo it and others along side it, worked out but tedious. I am sure yours will do the same.

    I use to do this all the time. Now first thing I do is sew a test block to make sure that it will work out

    I have done this enough times (or found I didn't like the colors or design) that I now make one block first. Then I cut the rest of the blocks. If the cut was a bit off, this allows me to change it. If I don't like it at all, then I can put it in my orphan box and use it on a tote bag as a gift.
