    Yes, some times the quilt goddess does not favor us. So I put things away and try another day.

    I don't think there is anyone who HASN'T had a day like that, lol. I wonder why it takes us so long to give in and walk away when things are going wrong. We must all have a little bit of stubborn in us too. Smiles and hugs, Linda aka wildyard

    Downy fabric softner has a program where you make quilts for kids and donate them. It's called Quilts For Kids/Touch of Comfort. lots of folks call the quilts "downy quilts"

    I looked up the web site for the Downy quilt project. After I wiped away a few tears I could do my work with a renewed energy. Worth looking up and reading about. There is a video as well.

    I have invented my own patterns cause things WON'T MATCH UP even tho I cut straight and sewed 1/4.' No reason for the problem that I can figure. just me jan
