I had that kind of day today. I cut also 3 yards of good flannel into squares and found out they are 1/2" to small, not happy with myself. I put together one block of another quilt and had to rip part of it out. I quit for the day.

When I have days like that, I quit what I am doing and take a long break. Tomorrow is always another day!

Yep, had a bad day yesterday. Did not measure correctly and then had to unpick everything. To top it off I'm full of flu. Probably should of not done any sewing at all! Today is a new day and will measure everything twice and have success!

I have those kind of days every once in a while. When it happens, I put the project aside for a few days. Usually when I come back to it everything works great. After three, either 'third time is a charm' or no-go. If it is a no-go, I put it away for several weeks or months. Sometimes they even become UFOs.

I have a quilt that I don't like at all after putting in all the time to "just finish it" It's hiding in the closet just sneering at me every time I look at it. One day It's going to get ripped and put to good use in another wonderful quilt(I hope)
