I get so caught up in the process that I sew for too long. Then I get hungry and overtired and REALLY screw up. That's when I know to quit for the day

I had sandwiched a double sided quilt and quilted it. Looking at it to admire I realised the the back was one upside down. I spent the whole Mayday holiday here in England unpicking the quilt. Finished it now all ready for the NEC in August. P.S what is a downy quilt???

I'm not sure, but I think it is a part of "Quilts for Kids" that is being sponsored by Downy fabric softener. I'm not sure I would have picked the quilt apart. Once it is quilted, I like to be done. I probably would have laughed, bound the edges and moved on to my next project.
