I'm just finishing my second class on EQ7. Boy have I learned a lot. I think they're the best classes I've ever taken. Well worth the money. The EQ7 Sampler class is starting again soon. It's $36.

I just signed up for beginner's EQ7- am wondering if it is "live", at a certain time or a taped sort of program

I have taken about 3 classes, really enjoyed them and learned a lot, did sign up for one and never had the time to complete but have the lessons that was for the EQ6 which is too bad, would really love to learn to use it.

I took an elements class, winter wonderland, a flower class and I think one on pinwheels.

Each new lesson (most classes have 4) is posted at 6:00 pm (eastern, they're in Virginia) on Friday evening so you can get right to work on it over the weekend. All lessons stay available for a week or so after the class closes, as does the forum. The format is entirely written, no tapes or live action media involved if that is what you mean. Does that answer your question?

There is usually a class assignment each week and, in most classes, you're encouraged to post pictures of how your work is progressing. I will say this, you learn a whole lot more if you participate in the forum discussions and post photos for feedback, but you certainly don't have to in order to have the class be worthwhile. The atmosphere is extremely supportive and a lot of fun.

I have taken the EQ6 class & am just finishing up the advanced class on EQ6. Learned a lot & the teacher's lessons were easy to follow. Would definetly take another if I see one that interests me. Price for the class was great, I thought & well worth it.

Quilt University classes are great, well worth the cost and the best part is you can do them at your speed any time of the day or night. The class lessons come in once a week and you can send in pictures of your work and if having a problem, the teacher can answer them in the discussion forum. A very satisfied customer of QU.

I have also taken several classes for QU. What I love about it is. You take the class being able to communicate with questions via email and then print out the information for future referral. Many time I have just printed the class out and saved the project for a time that worked for me. I am a visiual learner and there is usually plenty of photos.
