Anyone ever use "Invisifil" thread?
My cousin and I went on a quilt shop adventure today and found three new shops. At one of them I spied some Invisifil thread and the shop owner said is was really strong and sewed like a dream. I bought a couple of spools to try and when looking at them closer saw that it is 100 wt. I have never heard of this brand and never sewn with thread that fine, she claimed it worked great for both machine and hand stitching and I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried it. The price was pretty reasonable so if it works out I may buy more. shop owner claims it is nearly lint free as well.

I use it for hand applique turned edges. I saw a booth at Road to CA that used it to machine applique with turned edges. You could barely see the thread. I haven't tried that method yet as I enjoy hand applique. Also, have not tried it for piecing. It is very "fine" thread, and I find that it slips off the needle often if you don't pay attention.

I first used it for FMQing and straight line quilting, using it both in the bobbin and as the top thread. It was nice to work with and did an excellent job.
Like YngLdy, I discovered it is nice for doing applique work. I can stitch nice and fine and my stitches are almost invisible with it.

I used it several years ago for machine applique and it worked very well. However, my 328K did not like it both in the bobbin and on top -- just didn't work at all! It really produced a nice machine applique!
