I have an opportunity to use some snuggle flannel for the backside of my quilt? Has anyone ever used it before?

Is this the brand that Joann's sells? If so, a bunch of people purchased it before Christmas.

Flannel is great on the back of a quilt! Don't know that specific one.

I just did 2 twin size quilts with Snuggle Flannel on the backs. I had no problems at all on the quilting frame. It's very snuggly and both grandkids love their new quilts.

I always pre-wash flannel since a mis-adventure with it when I first started quilting and I'm more careful with my seam allowances now. I used 1/2 inch seam allowance for the backing and was very careful to keep it on grain. Some flannel can get stretched easily. I didn't have any trouble with the Snuggle brand but some I bought at Hancock Fabrics has to be starched heavily before I trust it.

Biggest thing with that is to pre wash when using it. It shrinks a lot more than the regular cotton fabrics do.

I have used flannel with no problems as long as I wash and dry several times to shrink and get rid of lots of lint. I'm not sure what brand. I think I got it in Hobby Lobby.
